ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Wabi-Sabi [ wah-bee-sah-bee ] "The view or thought of finding beauty in every aspect of imperfection in nature". The wood slabs used were reclaimed from a horse stable built in the early 1900's (found on the clients farm). The natural imperfections from age and construction are elevated using clear eco-epoxy to fill gaps, knots and splits. Metal tubing and threaded flanges were used for structural support. The clients cattle brand was stamped out of 1/8" metal platting - used as a custom family heirloom accent.
